Spruce Kings kick off training camp

PRINCE GEORGE — Training camp kicked off Friday for the Prince George Spruce Kings at Kopar Memorial Arena.
A total of 36 players are vying for a roster spot for the upcoming season. The camp wraps up on Sunday when Team Red plays Team Grey at 2 p.m. The game is free for the public to attend, along with all of the ice times over the weekend.
The Kings kick off pre-season play on Saturday September 6 when they host the Spruce Grove Saints at 6 p.m. The two teams will meet again on Sunday, September 7 at 2 p.m.
Tickets for pre-season games are $10 for adults and seniors and $5 for youth (aged 6-18). Children five and under get in for free.
