Kodiaks win three in a row for first time in franchise history
NANAIMO, B.C. — A massive win for the Prince George Kodiaks in the BC Football Conference as they have strung together three wins in a row for the first time in franchise history.
The Kodiaks beat the Vancouver Island Raiders 22-19 in a back and forth game in Nanaimo Saturday (Aug. 30).
PG trailed 7-0 after one quarter but soared back to lead 14-13 at the half. They fell behind against and trailed 19-15 after three, but then held the Raiders scoreless in the final quarter and picked up the come-from-behind win.
The Kodiaks remain in third place in the BCFC standings with a 4-2 record with four games left to play in the regular season. They’ll play the next three games at home, starting with a showdown against the 6-0 Okanagan Sun this Saturday (Sept. 6) at Masich Place Stadium.
