PRINCE GEORGE — The high-flying Prince George Kodiaks were brought back down to earth Saturday (Sept. 6) night, but they still remain in an excellent position in the BC Football Conference.

The Kodiaks were blown out 60-6 by the undefeated Okanagan Sun at Masich Place Stadium – the fewest points they’ve scored in a game this season.

The Sun led 29-0 at the half after a 16 point second quarter, and they added to their lead to make it 36-0 after three. The BCFC’s only undefeated team then turned it on the final 15 minutes with 24 addition points, while the Kodiaks were able to break the goose egg.

The Kodiaks fall to 4-3 but they remain in third place in the standings with three games to play. The Sun are in first place with a perfect 7-0 record.
