Police arrest person in relation to ambulance crash

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Mounties has arrested one person in relation to the crash Friday involving an ambulance and a pickup truck.
“We want to extend our thanks to all the people who provided us with information on this investigation. As a result of the tips we received, our Investigative Support Team was able to arrest the driver of the pickup truck in connection with this event,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
The driver was released on an appearance notice with a future court date.
The crash occurred shortly after midnight on Friday at the intersection at 15th Avenue and Carney Street. The crash sent two paramedics to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
