PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have announced their leadership group for the upcoming season.

Along with captain Isaac Holt, who was announced captain earlier this month, Quesnel’s Carter Hesselgrave will wear a letter as an alternate captain this season, as he enters his 3rd full season with the Spruce Kings. In 107 BCHL games, Hesselgrave has seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points.

Joining Hesselgrave will be Charlie Lake’s Mason Loewen, who is entering his second season. In 43 games last year, Loewen scored seven times and added 10 assists for 17 points.

Rounding out the leadership team is Collingwood, Ontario’s Marcus Lougheed. A new member of the Spruce Kings, Lougheed has 184 games of experience in the OJHL with the Collingwood Blues, winning two OJHL Championships and a Centennial Cup in 2024.
