Highlighting the importance of fire prevention with PG-Fire Rescue

This week marks National Fire Prevention Week with 2025’s theme being “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.” This theme aims to educate people about safely using lithium-ion batteries, and emphasizes the importance of buying, charging, and recycling these batteries safely. We took the opportunity to learn how to use a fire extinguisher with PG Fire-Rescue here in the City of Prince George while focusing on this important message of fire prevention and safety.
