PRINCE GEORGE — The College of New Caledonia and the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation will sign a Memorandum of Understanding next Wednesday, October 15.

It will support Lheidli T’enneh members access to post secondary education through tuition support and wraparound services.

Chief Dolleen Logan says the MOU is about “partnership and respect” adding that education “has always been and will always be a key part of the nation’s vision for the future.”

CNC President Cindy Heitman says “it’s an affirmation of their shared values and their shared future” adding that “by removing barriers, they’re offering opportunities to learn and connect while honouring the nation on whose territory the CNC campus resides upon.”
