PRINCE GEORGE — Update: This person is no longer wanted by RCMP.

Earlier: Prince George Mounties are asking the public to keep an eye out for 43-year-old John Daniel MacBurnie.

He last contacted his family approximately two weeks ago and hasn’t been heard from since, which is out of character for John. His family is very concerned for his well-being.

John Daniel MacBurnie is described as:

• 178 cm (5’10”)
• 75 kg (165 lb)
• Brown hair
• Blue eyes
• Scar on left eye
• Scar on right hand
• Tattoo on right forearm of the words “East Coast”
• Tattoo on left arm of a skull and flames
• Tattoo on chest of a gargoyle head
• Known to hang around downtown area of Prince George

“John has several warrants out for his arrest and may be evading police; investigators are asking that if anyone sees him, they call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP.
