PRINCE GEORGE —Local Mounties are seeking the public’s help in tracking down the suspects involved in a tire slashing investigation.

Prince George RCMP says multiple tires were slashed Tuesday night, Oct.14, in a parking lot off the 1600-block of Fifteenth Avenue.

Police officers were contacted shortly after 8:00 p.m. by some of the victims, who returned to their car to find the passenger-side tires were slashed.

“Police have reason to believe there may have been others in this area whose vehicle tires were similarly damaged. We are encouraging anyone who was a victim of this mischief to call our non-emergency line to create a police report,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Investigators are also looking to obtain any video surveillance that may have captured the suspects moving through the area. The incident likely occurred between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on October 14.

Mounties are reminding the public to report criminal activity to your local police. If you have any information about this or any other criminal offence, please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca (English only).
