Booming Prince George building sector poised to hit new heights

PRINCE GEORGE — The building sector in Prince George is on track for another strong year.

New numbers coming to Prince George council Monday show $8.9 million in permits issued during the month of September.

That pushes the year-to-date total to $240.7 million in permit value, with three months left to record in 2025.

In 2024, the City of Prince George issued $267.1 million in construction permits for the entire year.
