Cougars erupt for 6 goals in third period, trounce Tri-City 9-3

KENNEWICK, WAS. — The Prince George Cougars had an offensive explosion in the third period Saturday, scoring six goals en route to a 9-3 blowout of the Tri-City Americans in Kennewick, Washington.
Terik Parascak had a five-point night and Kooper Gizowski chipped in with four points. Arsenii Anisimov and Lee Shurgot registered three assists apiece.
Joshua Ravensbergen stopped 23 of 26 shots in the victory.
The Cougars (7-2-0-0) come back home to CN Centre for their next three games, beginning with a Wednesday night (Oct. 22) matchup against the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers (7-3-0-0).
