Impaired driving suspected in single-vehicle MVI

PRINCE GEORGE — Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash Monday night on 1st Avenue near Carney Street.

Prince George RCMP say the collision occurred at around 11 p.m. and note the driver was allegedly impaired. The passenger was also injured.

The crash damaged the power pole with BC Hydro crews repairing it overnight. The injuries are not believed to have been serious.
