Missing Fraser Lake woman located deceased

FRASER LAKE —Update: RCMP say that 82-year-old Wilma Friesen has been located deceased.

Police say the death is not considered suspicious. No other information will be released.

Earlier: Fraser Lake RCMP is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

Police say Wilma Friesen was last seen in Fraser Lake at 3 p.m Monday visiting with a friend (Oct.27).

Wilma told her friend that she was going to get groceries and then go home. Wilma is believed to be driving a silver 2020 Ford Edge bearing BC license plate number XL136F.

Wilma was scheduled to have a medical procedure Tuesday (Oct.28) in Prince George but her family does not believe she would have driven there on her own as a ride service was scheduled to pick her up.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
