Wind storm causing power outages across Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Hundreds of BC Hydro customers are without power Friday afternoon due to a wind storm in Prince George.

As of 12:20 p.m., 858 customers are without power, including Pine Centre Mall. Most of the outages are concentrated in the bowl area.

BC Hydro is reporting that work crews have been assigned to the outages though it’s unclear when power will be restored.
