Police say shooting on Halloween was targeted

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are saying that a reported shooting that took place on Halloween was a targeted incident.

Cst. Jenna Moore, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP, says that the shooting near the Alpine Village apartments, “was a targeted incident, and the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.”

Police say they are “seeking witnesses, CCTV or anyone with dash cameras who was near the 1900-block of Strathcona Avenue on Friday, October 31, 2025, between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., who have not already spoken with police to call (250)561-3300.”

Moore adds that “the investigation is currently with our Investigative Support Team, which is actively working to identify the suspects.”
