PRINCE GEORGE – Striking CUPE 1699 members are holding one-day picket lines at several facilities, including the Foothills Boulevard Regional Landfill and Robson Valley recreation centres, amid an ongoing contract dispute with the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. Workers have paused fee collection, cash handling, and other non-essential duties as part of their job action. Despite the strike, residents were still allowed to cross picket lines to dispose of their waste.
