PRINCE GEORGE – The federal Liberal government rolled out Budget 2025 yesterday, with big plans to boost spending and Canadians will be watching closely to see whether these promises translate into real change in their communities. Plus striking members of CUPE 1699 are staging one-day picket lines at various facilities Wednesday, including the Foothills Boulevard Regional Landfill and recreational centers throughout the Robson Valley, as part of their ongoing dispute with the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. And a 60 year old woman has been sentenced to at least 10 years in prison without the possibility of parole, in the 2020 murder of Jesse-Mae Hayward-Lines.
