Nukko Lake Community Hall burns down

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: Smoke and flames still rise from the site where the Nukko Lake Community Hall once stood.

Just recently, a community member told CKPG News that the hall hosted a Halloween event and served as a gathering place for families celebrating the holiday.

Residents are feeling the loss deeply and will miss the community hall greatly. In response, plans are underway to hold a community meeting to discuss how to move forward following the loss of this vital space.

At this point, the cause of the fire remains unknown.
