Structure fire destroys 8th Ave home

PRINCE GEORGE — A structure fire early Tuesday morning destroyed a home on the 2100-block of 8th Avenue (Nov.18).

Prince George Fire Rescue responded at approximately 1:30 a.m. to find a single-storey home fully involved in flames.

Crews from three halls were on scene for several hours fighting the blaze. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire so there were no injuries.

Damages are estimated at $300,000 and the fire is currently under investigation.
