Red hot Cougars prepare for a tough weekend
PRINCE GEORGE – The ice at the CN Centre is set to heat up this weekend as the Prince George Cougars defend home turf for the final two games of their lengthy home-stand. Fresh off a three-game win streak, the Cougars are brimming with confidence and ready to take on a pair of formidable Eastern Conference opponents they have’nt seen before. With key players making an impact and a strong season record so far consistency will continue to be the focus as Prince George continues its push up the standings.
“I think the biggest thing for us is find stability in our game and try to make sure we’re really consistent in all areas of our game. I think we try not to be just situationally motivated, where we try to adjust our preparation for team. We’re really trying to become consistent in how our our video sessions work, how our game day planning works, and how the system is implemented shift after shift. So we know there a top team there and they’re a great leveling mark for us to see where we are to measure up against them.” sais Cougars Associate Coach Jim Playfair.
