WENATCHEE, WA — Make it six wins in a row for the Prince George Cougars as they blanked the Wenatchee Wild 3-0 in a Friday (Nov. 28) night matchup in Washington state.

Josh Ravensbergen stopped all 29 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season and eighth in the WHL. The San Jose Sharks prospect is third in the Cougars’ all-time shutouts list, trailing Real Cyr (14) and Scott Bowles (10).

Bauer Dumanski, Terik Parascak, and Jett Lajoie all found the back of the net for the BC Division-leading Cougars against the Wild, who sit in the basement of the WHL’s overall standings.

Dumanski scored the only goal of the first period that saw the Cougars fire a season-high 19 shots. He ripped a wrist shot from above the right circle past goaltender Tobias Tvarznik to make it 1-0.

The Wild netminder allowed two goals on 30 shots in a losing effort.

Parascak scored the only goal of a penalty-filled second period as he extended his goal streak to six games with his 19th of the season. Lajoie then sealed the win in the third period with an empty netter.

The Cougars will go for their seventh win in a row as they face the Tri City Amercians in Kennewick, Washington. It’s the second game of the Cougars five-game road trip, and it gets underway at 6:05 p.m.
