PRINCE GEORGE — A 52-year-old Prince George man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges in relation to a residential break and enter incident.

Prince George RCMP say that Jason, Edward Boone was arrested on November 27, 2025 after video surveillance at a home captured a distinctive vehicle that police officers were able to associate with Boone.

Boone is facing the following charges:

Breaking, entering and committing an indictable offence

Theft under $5,000

Mischief under $5,000

Possession of property obtained by crime

“We want to thank the homeowners who made detailed reports to police regarding this incident. This allowed our investigators to determine a pattern of behaviour, which ultimately lead us to catching the suspect in the act. Public reporting to police was a key determinant in the success of this investigation,” states Sergeant Dan Morris, commander of the Street Crew Unit.

Investigators will review all recent break-and-enter reports to determine whether any are related to this investigation. Police officers have also noted that home security measures – such as CCTV and doorbell cameras – served as positive deterrents in many instances.

Boone will remain in custody until his next court appearance. This investigation is now before the courts.
