Quesnel man arrested following firearms incident

QUESNEL — Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of a gun being fired in a residence in the 2500 block of Red Bluff Road.

Quesnel RCMP say at around 5 a.m. Monday, December 15, police went to the scene and conducted a search warrant, where 13 firearms were seized.

A 52-year-old man has been arrested pending further investigation in relation to this.

Quesnel police add the results of this investigation will be sent to the BC Prosecution Service for assessment of appropriate charges.
