IIO seek information or video footage following death of man in Quesnel

QUESNEL — The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) is seeking information or dash cam footage related to an incident that occurred in Quesnel last October.
The IIO says that at around 1:10 a.m. on October 27, members of the Quesnel RCMP responded to a call about an unwanted person outside a building on Carson Avenue. Officers attended and spoke to a man before leaving. Shortly before 830 a.m. that day, BC Emergency Health Officers returned to find the man unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at hospital.
So far, IIO investigators have canvassed for witnesses, collected evidence and conducted interviews.
