Prince George Hospice appoints new medical director to strengthen clinical care
PRINCE GEORGE -The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society has appointed a new Medical Director to strengthen clinical leadership and support for patients, families, and staff. They bring extensive family medicine experience and a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care.
The Prince George Hospice Society is welcoming Dr. David Shepherd as its new Medical Director, a move aimed at strengthening clinical oversight and maintaining high standards of accredited hospice care.
The appointment enhances, rather than replaces, existing care. So he will be doing some clinical oversight. As you know, the hospice is accredited, and we want to continue to uphold those standards of excellence and always improve on patient care, says Operations Director at Prince George Hospice Society, Erin Connelly
