Structure fire on Ahbau causes $50K in damages

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire this (Jan.22) morning on the 500-block of Ahbau Street.

Crews arrived on scene just before 1 a.m. to find light smoke coming from the front of the home.

“A quick interior attack kept the fire contained to the area of origin,” says the City.

Damages are estimated at $50,000 and the fire is under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
