TWolves close out 2025-26 road schedule with defeat to UBC
VANCOUVER — The UNBC Timberwolves have wrapped up their final road weekend of the Canada West Season with another defeat to the UBC Thunderbirds.
The UNBC men lost a high-scoring battle – 104-84 – to the Thunderbirds, as Justin Sunga led with 20 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Chris Ainsley (15) and Miller Davies (10) also finished in the double-digits.
UNBC is 2-16 on the season, and they’ve lost 14 in a row.
The UNBC women also lost 97-41 to the Thunderbirds. Avin Jahangiri led the way with 12 points while Viktoriia Filatova added 11. Aurora Cabrera grabbed a team-high five rebounds.
