PENTICTON — The Penticton Vees beat the Prince George Cougars 3-0 on Monday afternoon in front of 4,013 fans at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton.
Noah Milford, Tristan Petersen, and Ethan Weber had the goals for the hosts, who outshot Prince George 35-32.
Of note, Cougars goalie Joshua Ravensbergen and Vees goalie Ethan McCallum received a five minute major and a game misconduct for a fight late in the third period.
With the loss, Prince George is now 1-1 on its eight game road trip which continues Friday night in Swift Current.
