PRINCE GEORGE – A new adventure series with deep family roots in northern British Columbia is capturing international interest. “Finding Nowhere,” produced and filmed in northern B.C., follows three cousins from Prince George as they reconnect through the wilderness, traditions, and family bonds. It’s currently streaming in the U.S. on Amazon Prime, with a Canadian release on the horizon.

Set against the stunning backdrop of northern British Columbia’s forests, lakes, and rugged landscapes, “Finding Nowhere” started with a simple yet impactful idea to invite family back home and showcase life on the land. Ryan Primus, a Prince George native, aimed to draw his cousin Joel away from the fast-paced city life, allowing him to experience the great outdoors that shaped Ryan’s own childhood.

The series is a true family endeavour, with all three creators being cousins living in different corners of the province, coming together to share a story deeply rooted in British Columbia.

Season one, filmed entirely in northern B.C., emphasizes teaching and learning rather than arguing, often showcasing skills passed down through trial and error.

From family ties to rugged terrain, “Finding Nowhere” highlights a homegrown B.C. narrative that reveals how meaningful journeys often begin right where you come from.

Season one is now streaming on Prime in the United States, with a Canadian launch coming soon as production for future seasons continues.
