Prince George Fire Rescue responds to structure fire on Hemlock Street

PRINCE GEORGE — There were no injuries in a structure fire on Hemlock Street early this morning (March 9).
Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the 1400-block of Hemlock Street at 2:15 a.m. to find heavy flames and smoke exiting from a carport on a multi-family dwelling.
The City says the quick actions of the responding crews knocked down the fire and prevented the spread to neighbouring residences.
No one was injured and damage is estimated at $120,000. The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
