Man wanted for assault by choking, uttering threats

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP needs your help locating a wanted man.

Police say 26-year-old James Wessel is wanted for assault, assault by choking, suffocating or strangling and for uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.

James Andrew Wessel is described as:

• 5’9” (175 cm)
• 181 lb (82 kg)
• Brown hair
• Blue eyes
• Tattoo of a joker, ace of spades and king of hearts cards on right side of neck
• Tattoo of an octopus on the right forearm
• Various tattoos on right hand
• Tattoo of a rose on left forearm
• May be residing in Kamloops

James Andrew Wessel is considered dangerous and should not be approached. If you locate him, contact your local police immediately.
