Person of interest identified in suspicious death investigation

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is seeking the public’s help in furthering its investigation into a suspicious death.

On September 27, 2024, Mounties responded to a house fire on the 2000-block of Quince Street. When the fire was extinguished, a person was found dead inside the home. Investigators deemed the death suspicious and now need your help identifying a person of interest.

The person of interest has long, dark hair and is wearing a white t-shirt.

“Police continue to seek witnesses to the events of that evening, in order to help bring closure to the family and friends of the deceased,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

If anyone knows who the person in this photo is or where she is currently residing, police ask they call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to speak with an investigator or else contact Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers to make an anonymous report.
