PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC Timberwolves men’s basketball team has announced a new commitment, and the individual is from northern B.C.

The team says 6’5″ shooting guard/small forward Jules Tersago has committed to the Timberwolves beginning next season.

Tersago graduated from Prince George Secondary School in 2024 and played last season at CTA West where he averaged 10.3 points-per-game to go along with 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He shot 53.2 percent from the field, 37.4 percent from beyond the arc, and clicked at an 84.3 percent clip from the free-throw line.

Head coach Todd Jordan had this to say about the team’s new recruit:

“We are excited to add Jules to the roster. He’s a good athlete who will add slashing ability and some toughness. He’s a great student and good person who will fit very well into our team culture,” he said. “It’s great to add a guy who has played his high school ball locally. Any time we can secure a local guy with the ability to play at our level we want to make sure we can keep them near home. I’m looking forward to working with Jules and helping him grow as a player and person over the next few years as he goes through his basketball journey.”
