Commercial fire on Hart Highway causes $150k in damages

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a commercial fire in the 2200-block of the Hart Highway early yesterday (April 6) morning.

Crews arrived at approximately 2:15 a.m. to find light smoke throughout a large commercial building. Crews found and extinguished a fire in the ceiling area of an onsite office before it could extend to the rest of the property.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Damages are estimated at $150,000.
