Prince George opens parks and facilities for spring season starting Thursday

PRINCE GEORGE – Spring has officially arrived in Prince George, and starting tomorrow, residents can get outside to enjoy several seasonal parks and facilities.

The City is opening several parks and civic facilities on Thursday, including Masich Place Stadium, the Jumpstart Multisport Courts, the beach volleyball facility, Nechako Riverside Park, Rainbow Park, and Carrie Jane Grey Park.

At Nechako Riverside, the gates and outhouse will both be unlocked for the season.

If you plan to walk the track at Masich Place, please note that during the soft opening, the walking track might not be ready right at 7 a.m. for the first couple of weeks. This depends on frost and overnight temperatures.
