CN confirms Friday derailment east of Sinclair Mills

PRINCE GEORGE — No injuries have been reported after a CN derailment east of Sinclair Mills on Friday afternoon.

The derailment, which involved 22 railcars occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. Friday (April 10).

“There were no injuries, leaks, fires and no danger to the public as a result of the derailment,” reads a CN statement sent to CKPG News.

The cause of the derailment is remains under investigation at this time.
