UNBC Timberwolves add international forward Brooke Sylvester for 2026–27 season
PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer program has announced the commitment of forward Brooke Sylvester, who will join the team for the 2026–27 season.
Sylvester, originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with ties to Edmonton, Alberta, comes to Prince George following a standout athletic career at Saigon South International School. A multi-sport athlete, she excelled in soccer, basketball, and volleyball while also maintaining High Honour Roll status academically.
On the pitch, Sylvester brings versatility and proven offensive production. Capable of playing both as a forward and on the wing, she recently recorded 12 goals in just seven matches during tournament play, earning both Most Valuable Player and Coaches’ Choice honours.
“I have played soccer since such a young age and I can’t imagine not playing it,” Sylvester said. “I love the team aspect and the way the game is played. I also love how it pushes you and fills you with accomplishment in both small and big ways.”
