Prince George prepares for Canada Day in the Park with updated layout, expanded activities
PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George is preparing to host its annual Canada Day in the Park celebration on July 1, promising a full day of activities, entertainment and community fun at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.
The event, presented by Canadian Tire, will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with organizers introducing several changes this year aimed at improving the overall experience for attendees.
City officials say the updated layout reflects feedback from past events. The food pavilion has been relocated along the Heritage River Trail, while the kids zone will now be positioned next to the park’s playground to better accommodate families.
