Timberwolves add versatile B.C. standout Oskar Dewar to 2026 recruiting class
PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer program has strengthened its future roster with the commitment of Oskar Dewar of Penticton, B.C., who will join the team for the 2026 season and beyond.
Dewar arrives at UNBC after developing his game with Edge School for Athletes and Calgary West Football Club. The versatile defender and winger plans to begin studies in the university’s Bachelor of Health Sciences program, pursuing a major in Biomedical Studies.
A dedicated student-athlete, Dewar has earned both athletic and academic recognition throughout his high school career. Since beginning his soccer journey at the age of four, he has consistently balanced success in the classroom with strong performances on the field.
Despite injuries limiting his most recent outdoor season, Dewar remained productive, scoring three goals and adding two assists in just four appearances. Capable of playing as either a winger or fullback, he brings versatility, speed and a strong work ethic to the Timberwolves program.
