Update: RCMP locate wanted woman

PRINCE GEORGE —Update: RCMP say they are no longer looking for Whynot. They would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this case.

Earlier: The Prince George RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted on assault-related charges as part of its weekly Wanted Wednesday campaign.

Police are looking for 32-year-old Kyla Jeannette Whynot, who is the subject of an endorsed warrant. Whynot is wanted on three counts of assault with a weapon, according to RCMP.

Investigators describe Whynot as 5-foot-3 (160 cm) tall and weighing approximately 232 pounds (105 kg). She has brown hair, which is sometimes dyed blonde, and hazel eyes.
