Prince George RCMP seeking wanted woman

PRINCE GEORGE —The Prince George RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted on assault-related charges as part of its weekly Wanted Wednesday campaign.

Police are looking for 32-year-old Kyla Jeannette Whynot, who is the subject of an endorsed warrant. Whynot is wanted on three counts of assault with a weapon, according to RCMP.

Investigators describe Whynot as 5-foot-3 (160 cm) tall and weighing approximately 232 pounds (105 kg). She has brown hair, which is sometimes dyed blonde, and hazel eyes.

RCMP warn that Whynot is considered dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public if she is seen. Instead, anyone who believes they have located her is urged to contact police immediately.
