Spencer making immediate BCHL impact
PRINCE GEORGE- For Charlie Spencer, the jump to the BCHL meant more than just adjusting to junior hockey. It meant moving to a new country, settling into a new community, and proving himself in a new league far from his Chicago home.
The 20-year-old forward has enjoyed a strong start to his first BCHL season with the Prince George Spruce Kings, recording 10 points in his first six games. The Chicago native has collected two goals and eight assists while quickly establishing himself as one of the team’s most dangerous offensive threats.
Spencer’s production has been a welcome addition for a Spruce Kings club looking to build consistency early in the season. While the rookie is still learning the nuances of the BCHL game, Head Coach Brad Tesink says the offensive results have been hard to ignore.
