Ice Jam Impacts Homes Along Nechako River

An ice jam on the Nechako river is causing some localized flooding in Prince George.  Residents living along Morning Place on the western edge of the city, say the river began to flood early Monday morning. Some river water has entered a few homes.

City of Prince George officials and emergency crews are accessing the situation. 

At this point, no one has been evacuated because of the high water.
