Food Drive For Needy Seniors

Hundreds of needy seniors will have a brighter Christmas thanks to municipal employees.  A weekend food drive involving cramming police trucks and cruisers has resulted in a huge donation to a local hamper campaign.  The truck load along with 4000 dollars worth of cash and gift cards goes to hampers organized through the Seniors Resource Centre.  Almost 200 needy seniors have already applied for help over the holidays.
