High School Students Make A Difference
PRINCE GEORGE – As part of Cedars Christian School’s High School Service day, grade 8, 9 and 10 students helped out in different areas of the community.
“Our theme this year is the idea of being different and letting our light shine in such a way that we give glory to God with what we do and the way we love and serve others,” says Principal Shane Nelson, who believes that serving the community fits well with the image of Cedars Christian School.
Students went out to places like Laurier Manor to help out gardener Sandra Nadalin. Nadalin always appreciates an extra hand, but loves to see how happy things like these make the seniors.
“Many of them were avid gardeners, so for someone to come and take the time to work and make their home look nice, it touches their hearts, it touches my heart,” says Nadalin.
