Spinal Cord Injury BC Awarded Grant By UWNBC

PRINCE GEORGE – Spinal Cord Injury BC has been awarded a grant by the United Way of Northern BC. Seven thousand dollars is being awarded to SCI BC and will go towards their Northern Peer Support Program.

Those who participate in the Northern Peer Support Program receive information, connections, solutions and unique community experiences across the north. Through connections, individuals who live in a wheelchair are assisted to overcome their challenges. 

In order to apply for Community Investment Funding from the United Way, non-profits must provide community social programming every year.
