16 Red Light tickets Issued During August

PRINCE GEORGE – During the month of August ICBC says,  16 Red-light violation tickets were issued at the intersection of 15th Avenue and Ospika Blouvard. On July 30th of this year, 140 cameras in 26 communities went into operation across the province. The government plans in March to add the intersection cameras to ticket the fastest drivers passing through on red, yellow or green lights. According to ICBC, approximately 60 percent of all crashes in B.C. occur at intersections.
