Postmen Disaster Relief Needs Help

PRINCE GEORGE- There are many places to donate money and necessities when a disaster hits, but there aren’t many organizations that are quite like Postmen Disaster Relief. The group was formed during the Fort McMurray wildfire in 2016 and has continued helping each wildfire season since. The organization is run completely by volunteers that collect, sort, and transport donations to those in need. They take everything from dry goods, to pet food, toiletries, and even hay for livestock in areas where farms are lost to fire. The local donation depot is looking for supplies to send to people near Francois Lake. Prince George team lead, Kari Gaddy, says they are still collecting donations even though many have returned to their homes as the group aims to alleviate some of the stress homeowners face for as long as they can.
