RCMP and City Bylaws Officers Geared to Patrol School Zones

PRINCE GEORGE – Schools are back in full swing, Prince George RCMP and City Bylaw officers are patrolling school zones. According to Police and Bylaws, there can be a lot of traffic congestion around schools with staff, parents and students. Some drivers choose to stop in areas where parking is prohibited which can be a safety concern for children entering and leaving the school grounds. Officers will issue tickets to drivers who block traffic or stopped illegally.
