Prince George Experiencing Construction Boom and Skilled Trade Shortage.

PRINCE GEORGE – According to the Canadian Home Builders Association of Northern British Columbia, Prince George is experiencing a construction boom and skilled trade shortage. The uptick has put pressure on the need for local skilled tradespeople. Terri McConnachie Executive Officer of Canadian Home Builders Association of Northern British Columbia says some of the local skilled workers are working on the Site C project and in turn stalling local building projects.
