Shots fired from vehicle, three held in custody overnight

UPDATE:

The two males suspects involved in with shots fired from a vehicle have been charged with various firearm related offences. Ravinesh SHARMA, 32, and Justin PAWLUCK, 35, have both been charged.

Both Sharma and Pawluck have been held in custody until their next court appearance scheduled for May 3, 2019.

Recommended charges for the female driver, who has been released from police custody, have been forwarded to the Prince George Crown’s Office for their review.

PRINCE GEORGE — On Thursday, May 2 around 3:20 am, Prince George RCMP received a report of multiple gunshots near the corner of the John Hart Highway and Shady Lane.

Police were told the shots were coming from a vehicle driving southbound on the highway.

RCMP found the suspect vehicle near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Alward Street.

Officers detained the three adult occupants, two males and a female.

A search warrant was obtained and executed on the vehicle and a loaded handgun was found.

The 19-year-old female driver, 35-year-old male passenger and 32-year-old male passenger were arrested for firearms-related offences and held in custody overnight.

According to RCMP, no clear target of this shooting has been located.

Officers are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public’s help.
